David Lederer spent the early years of his legal career defending corporations and insurance companies in personal injury lawsuits. After years on the defense side, learning precisely how insurers deny, delay, and minimize legitimate claims, he switched to representing the people who get hurt. Today, David brings that insider knowledge to every case at Lederer & Nojima. He teaches trial tactics at California Bar Association conferences and mentors law students on the litigation strategies he once used on behalf of insurers. His quote on his practice: "Serve the people that need us in the best way possible. Those who are aggrieved are entitled to compensation."

John Nojima

Partner

John Nojima earned a full basketball scholarship to CSU Dominguez Hills, where he was named team captain, All-Conference, and a California Rhodes Scholar finalist. He won the Woody Hayes NCAA Division II Scholar Athlete of the Year award. He then earned an MBA from Loyola Marymount before pursuing law. After law school, John spent five years at a large corporate insurance defense firm, where he learned, from the inside, every tactic insurers use against injury victims. He founded his own practice before joining forces with David Lederer. He has been at Lederer & Nojima for 19+ years and has recovered an estimated $30-40 million for injury clients. His goal for every client: to help them "right the ship physically, emotionally and financially."
